Duties and powers of the administrative affairs assistant

1- Coordinating the work of the administrative and technical staff in all the college divisions according to the work requirements in the college and distributing them among those divisions in a way that guarantees the college’s interest and needs.

2- Approval of granting regular licenses to technicians, administrators and contractors from the faculty’s employees to enjoy them inside and outside Iraq.

3- Recommending the upgrading of the college’s staff of technicians and administrators.

4- Approval of assigning the faculty’s staff and affiliates to the university’s additional science.

5- Sending letters of thanks and appreciation to the technical and administrative staff of the college, in accordance with the requirements of the public interest, and in coordination with the Dean of the College and the heads of the scientific departments in it.

6- Carrying out the necessary transfers of the staff in the college according to the requirements of the public interest and in coordination with the deanship of the college and the heads of the scientific departments in it.

7- Signing the issuance of orders for granting regular vacations, summer vacations, and legally prescribed rewards to those who are retired from among the college’s employees.

8- Signing forms for annual bonuses and promotions for administrative and technical staff.

9- Granting maternity and maternity leave to all college affiliates, according to the decisions and instructions in force.

10- Recommending the referral of the department’s employees to investigation in accordance with the Student Discipline Law.

The position of the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs is considered the main responsible for managing all the affairs of the college administratively and financially, maintaining everything related to the rights of the affiliates, including teachers and employees, and following up on them in terms of promotion and academic and career promotion, in addition to completing the retirement transactions of those who have completed the legal age, resigned or died.
