About The Department
The Department of Financial and Banking Sciences is one of the scientific departments that establish the College of Administration and Economics, as it was introduced by the establishment of the college for the year 2012-2013 and the number of students enrolled in this department was more than 400 students for morning and evening studies, and from the scientific and literary branches, in addition to receiving the top graduates from occupational school and institutes with corresponding specializations and with modern curricula that keep pace with the developments in the requirements of the labor market and by professors specializing in those sciences
It is an honor and pleasure for me, in my name and in the name of the teaching staff of the Department of Financial & Banking Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics – thi Qar University, to welcome you to our website
This department was established in 2012 was including the launch of the morning and evening studies together to open the way for our dear students whom graduated from the scientific and literary branches, and to be a tributary of the labor market with a quality compatible with the requirements of the market. The first batch been graduated in 2015-2016, hoping that postgraduate studies will be opened for this department due to its great role in developing the country’s economic and financial sector, God willing.

That this department be in line with the scientific developments in the field of specialization in order to be in line with the needs and requirements of the market, as well as be one of the scientific departments that enrich the knowledge base and help researchers in analysis and measurement.

Qualifying the student so that his scientific and practical literatures are rooted in university values to be a behavior that enhances professional values in the fields of work so that we have an integrated moral and scientific system in harmony with our societies.
